The team around Mathieu van der Poel and Jasper Philipsen was particularly convincing in the classics and won three out of five monuments, although Philipsen did not match his record from the previous year.

The French team has only achieved nine victories this season. But one of them was particularly important and also a first at the Tour de France.

Like Arkea, Astana was not necessarily spoilt for success in 2024. However, Mark Cavendish's 35th stage win at the Tour de France will be remembered for a long time.

The team had a mixed season. One of the few bright spots: the two victories this season by German sprinter Phil Bauhaus.

Cofidis

Cofidis only managed five victories this year. After the end of Simon Geschke's career, the French team remains extremely exciting from a German perspective.

With the arrival of sporting goods giant Decathlon as its new main sponsor, a jolt went through the French team, which immediately notched up 30 victories this season and was even on course for overall victory at the Vuelta a Espana for a long time.

One of the highlights of the cycling season from a German perspective: Georg Steinhauser's stage win at the Giro d'Italia. But the EF Education EasyPost team had even more to offer.

Compared to the previous year, Marc Madiot's men took four fewer victories. One of the most prestigious victories was won by Stefan Küng for Groupama-FDJ.

Ineos Grenadiers

The former industry leader achieved a whopping 24 fewer wins in 2024 than in 2023. The departure of Thomas Pidcock also raises many question marks.

Intermarche-Wanty

Biniam Girmay was the outstanding rider at Intermarche-Wanty 2024. The man from Eritrea was particularly impressive at the Tour de France.

The previous internal team record of 27 wins from 2023 was pulverised again this year by Lidl-Trek with 42 victories. Injuries and illness prevented an even better record.

The Spanish team only achieved eight victories in 2024. A strong Vuelta a Espana then improved the record somewhat.

Speaking of the Vuelta: The Tour of Spain also stands out in Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe's balance sheet with Primoz Roglic's overall victory. It was also the Slovenian who took the most wins of the season for the German team.

Soudal - Quick Step

Soudal - Quick Step's 34 victories still put them in third place globally behind UAE Team Emirates (81) and Lidl-Trek (42). However, the Belgian team failed to impress in the classics.

The Dutch team set the first highlight of the Tour de France 2024, while a youngster was the team's perennial favourite.

In Dylan Groenewegen 2025, the Australian team had a safe bank at the start when it came to taking victories. The Dutchman also won the team's internal sprinter comparison.

UAE Team Emirates

Tadej Pogacar was the outstanding driver for UAE Team Emirates. However, the Slovenian did not win a total of 81 victories this season single-handedly.

Despite the injuries to Jonas Vingegaard and Wout van Aert, the Dutch team has 32 victories this season. This includes five Grand Tour stages.
