As in previous years, the Santos Tour Down Under will be the start of the UCI Women's World Tour (WWT) in 2024. The Australian kick-off will be completed by the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Race. The season also ends far away from Europe: in China, the Tour of Chongming Island and the Tour of Guangxi one-day race in October will bring the season to a close.
The upswing in German women's cycling continues with the Tour of Berlin Feminin, which was revived last year after a long absence, and the Women's Cycling Grand Prix Stuttgart & Region, which will be held for the first time in 2023; both races are back on the calendar, but not part of the WWT.
The supposed void in the calendar at the end of July and beginning of August is the place for the real highlight of the season, the Olympic Games in Paris. The Individual time trial under the sign of the rings is on 27 July on the programme, which Road race on 4 August.
