Velofollies in Kortrijk, Belgium, is one of the first major bicycle trade fairs to take place in mid-January. Many manufacturers take the opportunity to present new material. This includes BBB Cycling with a pair of road bike goggles called Arc Flux.

The new sunglasses are based on the Valor Flux model and benefit from a special lens technology. The Arc Flux is designed to provide high-contrast vision in different lighting conditions by filtering the light spectrum. A grease-repellent and scratch-resistant coating also means that the lens fogs up less and is less susceptible to dirt.

BBB Cycling, based in The Hague/Netherlands, also emphasises that the frame of the semi-rimless glasses is made from Rilsan, a plastic made from castor oil. In addition to its environmentally friendly properties, the material is light and robust. However, the Dutch company did not provide a weight for the Arc Lux. Our sister magazine BIKE determined a weight of 30 grams for the predecessor model Valor Flux.

An interchangeable nose piece (two sizes) allows the cycling goggles to be customised. A clear interchangeable lens is included for riding in bad weather. The Arc Flux is available in black, yellow, cream and blue. According to the manufacturer, the road bike goggles are now available for 129 euros.
