Corona verfolgt die Tour de France auch weiterhin.
Two Tour de France riders have tested positive in the UCI's corona tests on the third rest day. The UCI announced this, but did not name the pros.

"The riders in question are not in the top 20 of the overall classification," the UCI said in its statement. Both riders are "completely asymptomatic" and may therefore be able to continue the Tour de France. The decision will be made on Tuesday morning.

Corona rules relaxed ahead of Tour de France

Due to a relaxation of the coronavirus regulations decided shortly before the Tour, positive riders do not necessarily have to be removed from the race. However, they must be asymptomatic and non-contagious. The rule has been applied twice so far.

Luxembourger Bob Jungels, who tested positive shortly before the Tour (AG2R) was allowed to start and later won the ninth stage. The Pole Rafal Majka (UAE Team Emirates), the most important helper of defending champion Tadej Pogacar, was allowed to continue the race despite a positive test last Tuesday.

At the German racing team Bora-Hansgrohe all the latest tests came back negative, according to a team spokesperson on Monday.
