Scott Roxter 24 green

The "Roxter 24 green" model from Scott, released in 2024, is a versatile and robust children’s bike, available for 499 EUR. This bike has been specially designed for young riders and offers a wide range of technical features that ensure both safety and riding enjoyment.

The frame of the Roxter 24 Plus Junior is made from a lightweight yet sturdy aluminium alloy (Alloy 6061) and features a semi-integrated head tube as well as SCOTT dropouts with the IS standard. The bike’s total weight is 11 kg, and it is designed for a maximum rider weight of up to 50 kg.

Mechanical disc brakes from Tektro (SCM-02) have been fitted at both the front and rear, equipped with 160 mm brake discs. The brake levers are specially designed for juniors and are fitted in combination with Tektro twist shifters.

The Roxter 24 green is fitted with a Shimano RD-TX800 Tourney 8-speed derailleur, controlled by the Shimano SL-RV400-8R Revo shifter. This enables simple and precise gear selection, specifically tailored to the needs of young riders.

The rigid fork is also made of aluminium (AL-6061) and contributes to the bike’s overall stability. Other components include a Feimin bottom bracket (BB68 / Cartridge / Square Taper), an aluminium Prowheel crankset (140 mm) with a 32-tooth chainring and a double chain guard (PVG double cover), as well as a SunRace cassette (8-speed, 11-34T) and a KMC Z8.3 chain.

The handlebars are 580 mm wide aluminium Kids Riser Bars with a 20 mm rise, whilst the Syncros grips have been specially designed for children’s hands. The stem is also made of aluminium (50 mm long, +10° angle, 25.4 mm clamp). The headset is a Feimin FP-H807, semi-integrated with a 1 1/8" thread.

The wheels are fitted with Shining MP-32 disc rims and black 15G spokes. The tyres are Kenda K1080 SlantSix in size 24x2.6" with 30 TPI, which ensures excellent traction and stability. The hubs are from Formula (DC-19-F at the front and DC-25-8-R at the rear) and are fitted with quick-release (QR) mechanisms.

The saddle is a Syncros Youth model, mounted on a 300 mm long aluminium seatpost (26.8 mm diameter). A handy kickstand completes the specification and makes it easy to park the bike.

The bike is delivered in a box measuring 1260 mm in length, 660 mm in height and 200 mm in width, with the gross weight of the package being 13 kg.
