The new comfort model from Scott makes a convincing debut. You sit relatively upright, the stable, relatively light frame is trimmed for maximum suspension comfort. In addition to the noticeably flexing carbon seat post, the rear triangle design contributes to this. Because the rear brake sits under the bottom bracket, the brake bridge is eliminated, allowing the seat stays to absorb shocks even better. In addition to the functionally impressive Ultegra groupset, the wheels and add-on parts from Scott's own Synchros brand also look high-quality. The large selection of frame sizes is commendable. The only point of criticism is the relatively simple tyres. Although the Durano tyres from Schwalbe are puncture-proof and grip well, at this price level they could have been a top tyre.
