Tube profiles in a Kammtail design promise aerodynamic advantages, although these can only be fully realised in combination with proper aero wheels. We really liked the sporty, not too stretched out riding position, which appeals to both racers and ambitious marathon riders. The bike is easy to accelerate and has good forward traction, while the Ultegra groupset with its versatile 52/36-tooth chainring gradation brakes and shifts perfectly. The DT Swiss hub-based Synchros wheels make a good impression, as do the high-quality components. However, the Chinese-made Conti tyres are a little meagre considering the price.
CONCLUSION Sporty riding position, top riding characteristics, very good suspension on the saddle, functionally flawless equipment.
