Scott Roxter 20 green

The "Roxter 20 green" model from Scott, released in 2024, is a robust and well-equipped junior bike that is ideal for young cyclists. Priced at 459 EUR, this bike offers a solid combination of high-quality materials and well-designed components. The frame is made from Roxter 20 PLUS Junior Alloy 6061, which is renowned for its durability and lightness. With a total weight of 10 kg and a maximum load capacity of 50 kg, the bike is light enough for children, yet remains stable and safe.

The Roxter 20 green’s braking system consists of Tektro SCM-02 mechanical disc brakes at both the front and rear, complemented by Tektro Junior JL-510 TS / RS brake levers and 160 mm brake discs. These components ensure reliable braking performance and safety.

The gear system is fitted with a Shimano RD-TX800 Tourney 8-speed rear derailleur and a Shimano SL-RV400-8R Revo shifter, enabling easy and precise gear selection. The drivetrain is supported by a KMC Z8.3 chain, whilst the SunRace CSM55 cassette, with 8 speeds and a gear ratio of 11-34T, ensures versatile adaptation to various terrains.

The fork is made from AL-6061, a rigid construction that provides additional stability. The pedals are specially designed for children and fitted with reflectors to increase visibility. The Prowheel crankset, featuring a 127 mm aluminium crank and a 36T chainring, offers efficient power transfer.

The handlebar system comprises an aluminium Kids Riser Bar, 560 mm wide with a 20 mm rise, and Syncros Grips Kids100/80 grips, which ensure comfortable handling. The aluminium stem is 50 mm long and has a +10° angle, enabling an ergonomic riding position.

The rims are Shining MP-32 Disc models, laced with black 15G spokes. The tyres, Kenda K1080 SlantSix in size 20x2.6" with 30 TPI, offer good grip and stability on various surfaces. The hubs are Formula (DC-19-F at the front and DC-25-8-R at the rear) and feature quick-release (QR) mechanisms, which make removing the wheels easier.

The Syncros Youth saddle and aluminium seatpost (26.8 mm diameter, 250 mm length) offer comfort and adjustability. A handy kickstand is also included for parking the bike when needed.

The packaging for the Roxter 20 green measures 21 mm in width, 61 mm in height and 113 mm in length, with a gross weight of 13 kg. This model is available in one size, making it a versatile choice for young cyclists.
