Cannondale CAAD Optimo 2

The "CAAD Optimo 2" model from the Cannondale brand from 2024 offers a wide range of technical features and high-quality components at a price of EUR 1299. The frame is made of SmartForm C2 Alloy with SAVE technology and has a tapered head tube as well as mounting options for mudguards. The rear triangle is equipped with a 130x10mm quick release.

The brake system consists of Promax RC-476 Dual Pivot Caliper brakes, while the brake levers are Shimano Tiagra. The gears and shifters are also part of the Shimano Tiagra series and offer 10 gears. The front derailleur is also a Shimano Tiagra model with a 31.8 mm clamp.

The fork of the CAAD Optimo 2 is a full carbon fork, which is tapered from 1-1/8" to 1-1/4" and is also equipped with mounting options for mudguards and a 100x9mm quick release. The pedals are from Wellgo and have clips and straps. The bottom bracket is an FSA cartridge model, while the crankset is made of FSA Omega ME Alloy and offers a gear ratio of 50/34. The sprocket is a Sunrace model with a gradation of 11-32 and also 10-speed.

The drive is provided by a KMC X10EL chain. The handlebars are made of 6061 Alloy in a compact design, while the grips are wrapped with Cannondale Bar Tape in 3.5mm thickness. The stem is also made of 6061 Alloy, has a diameter of 31.8mm and an angle of 7 degrees. The headset is a CAAD Optimo model, tapered from 1-1/8" to 1-1/4" and fitted with a 25mm top cap.

The rims are RS 3.0 models with 24 spokes at the front and 28 spokes at the rear. The tyres are Vittoria Zaffiro in size 700x25c, both front and rear. The hubs are Formula RB-31 at the front and Formula RB-32 at the rear, both equipped with 14g stainless steel spokes.

The saddle is a Cannondale Stage CX model, while the seat post is made of Cannondale 4, 6061 Alloy and measures 27.2x350mm. The total weight of the bike is 31000 grams.
