Hardly any other manufacturer builds high-quality aluminium frames for racing bikes apart from Cannondale. The US brand is positioning the CAAD13 as a thoroughbred sports bike for riders who don't want a carbon bike out of conviction. Aerodynamic tube cross-sections, lowered seat stays and the integrated seat clamp are details that have been extremely rare in aluminium frames to date and closely align the bike's design with the Supersix Evo carbon model. The model range includes five equipment variants for men, two of which have rim brakes. There is also a women's model with disc and rim brakes.
