Felt F4 2013
The Felt F4 is a bike for the racetrack: a stretched riding position, stable, very manoeuvrable, well damped. The bike is relatively expensive.

The F4 marks the sporty pole in this test. Due to the short head tube in relation to the frame length, you sit stretched out and the steering forces are unusually low due to the short trail. With round tubes, an almost horizontal top tube and external gear cables, the look is classic. The white paintwork is clean, the equipment with Ultegra brakes and gears as well as carbon cranks from FSA is solid. The comfortable saddle and slim carbon seat post provide pleasant suspension comfort on the saddle. The low rolling resistance of the top Conti tyres, which Felt retrofits to all bikes sold in Germany, reinforces the good riding impression. The bike is slightly downgraded by the relatively heavy Shimano wheels, the front one of which was noticeable due to a poorly finished rim joint.
