Corratec is known for its idiosyncrasies. On the Corones aluminium frame, this can be seen in the "lowered" chainstays, which only point upwards just before the dropouts. During the ride, the sporty riding position is the first thing you notice, followed by the exorbitant riding stability. The equipment is at class level: complete Ultegra groupset, stiff, fairly heavy DT Swiss wheels, good Conti tyres. The saddle cover is so flexible that it hits the post head on hard impacts. A unique selling point of Corratec is the sizing system, which is based on length rather than height. However, with only five lengths and relatively large jumps, the choice is quite limited.
