A double victory in a double sense: after her win the day before, Marta Lach (Ceratizit-WNT Pro Cycling) repeated her one-day success and also won the third stage of the Tour of Chongming Island on the island of the same name off Shanghai. The Polish rider won the 111-kilometre final stage ahead of the two VolerWessels women Scarlett Souren and Sofie van Rooijen and, by winning the bonus seconds, also took the leader's jersey from her compatriot Mylène de Zoete, who had won yellow on the first day. De Zoete, her team's nominal sprinter, was unable to finish at the front this time and finished tenth. Lach had stayed in van Rooijen's slipstream for a long time and then passed him. In any case, only half of the peloton was able to take part in the sprint, as there was a mass crash on the finishing straight, which all the riders survived.
The 27-year-old celebrated the 13th victory of her career - the first time she has won a stage race. Overall, her team was not quite as present on the final day as on the two days before. This job was taken over by Volker Wessels. Anne Knijnenburg secured the corresponding jersey by winning the only mountain point of the day. Knijnenburg, who had a companion from the Czech Republic with her in the meantime, stayed ahead of the field for a long time on the circuit and was only caught again around five kilometres before the finish. In the final, it was her team-mates van Rooijen and Souren who were only beaten by Lach. The three Dutchwomen from the number one squad also secured the top three places in the junior classification.
