The Ruta del Sol 2023 will take place from 15 to 19 February 2023. Here you can find the most important information about the stages, the start list and the TV broadcast of the 69th Tour of Andalusia.

The Ruta del Sol, also known as the Tour of Andalusia, is an annual tour for professional cyclists. It was organised for the first time in 1925. The Ruta del Sol is one of the most important cycling events in Spain and attracts some of the best cyclists from all over the world. The race usually lasts five days and includes stages that cover different routes; flat stages, mountain stages and also time trials. Each stage is different and the route is therefore very varied.

Ruta del Sol attracts cycling stars

The Ruta del Sol is part of the UCI ProSeries, a category below the UCI World Tour - the premier league of international cycling. Although the Ruta del Sol is not part of the World Tour, it attracts some of the world's best professional cyclists due to its prestige, varied route and often sunny weather. Among the stars who have already won this tour are Alejandro Valverde, Chris Froome and Erik Zabel, to name but a few.

The route of the Ruta del Sol will once again offer attractive stages in 2023, as a detailed look at the individual sections shows.
