Wolfgang Papp was born in Munich in 1972 and has remained there ever since. His enthusiasm for sport developed in his earliest childhood and he came into active contact with racing bikes at the age of 16. Spurred on by two classmates, Wolfgang bought a racing bike with the money he earned from his first holiday job. Studying cartography was not quite on the way to becoming a picture editor, but a diploma thesis in reproduction technology and work experience in a pre-press company still sharpen his understanding of production processes today. After a few years in the picture editing department of Premiere (now SKY), with the highlight being the 2006 Football World Cup, he came into contact with TOUR through a friend in 2007. As a keen sportsman, passionate TV sportsman and amateur photographer, he combines his preferences as a picture editor.
