The 79th Vuelta a Espana begins in Lisbon on Saturday. All teams have already announced their final line-ups for the Tour of Spain. This is the start list.
Probably the most exciting Grand Tour of the year is just around the corner. Due to the cancellation of the high-flyers Tadej Pogacar and Jonas Vingegaard, the outcome of the race is open. Apart from that, it's the mountain-tough pros who dominate the teams' line-ups. Because the Vuelta will be incredibly difficult. The organisers themselves have only advertised one stage as flat, otherwise it will be at least hilly, but mostly mountainous. There are hardly any opportunities for sprinters, which is why only very few of the fast men have registered, as a look at the now complete start list shows.
