Trotz eines festgefahrenen Tourbusses konnte die 10. Etappe pünktlich gestartet werden.
The mountain villages in the Alps are always very crowded anyway when the Tour de France stops there.

On Tuesday lunchtime, the team bus EF Education-EasyPost caused a little chaos at the start in Morzine when it touched down on the way to the car park and got stuck. Only eight of the 22 buses had made it to the start car park. Some of the riders from the other teams then got on their bikes and rolled off to register.

Great laughter in the social media

After just over half an hour, the EF bus was able to free itself. It was able to take off without delay at 1.30 pm. Word of the mishap spread quickly on social media. Especially among the team BikeExchange the laughter was great.

BikeExchange with a history

In 2013, the Australians under the name Orica got stuck with their bus on the bend of the last kilometre. In the meantime, the organisers had even moved the finish line forward, but changed this again shortly before the finale.

"It's about time we passed the baton," tweeted the BikeExchange team. The stage in Bastia on Corsica was won by Marcel Kittel, who took over the leader's yellow jersey as a result.
