The Tour de France 2024 will take place from 29 June to 21 July. Fans can follow the biggest professional cycling event of the year both on TV and online via live stream - today and on all other stage days. In Germany, the Tour de France will be broadcast by two TV channels: Das Erste (ARD) and Eurosport 1. Both channels are available on free-to-air TV and also offer live streams.
On weekdays, Das Erste usually broadcasts from around 2.10 pm to 5.30 pm. On weekends, the TV broadcast times change.
The Tour de France can be followed daily in the freely accessible live stream. All stages are broadcast free of charge in the ARD media centre and on sportschau.de, often with an earlier start time.
The commentator for the main ARD programme today and on all other days will be Florian Naß. Co-commentator is Fabian Wegmann.
In addition to ARD, Eurosport will also be broadcasting the Tour of France on TV on Eurosport 1 and there will also be live streams via Discovery Plus (via paid subscription).

The Eurosport commentator is Karsten Migels, whose book "Zum Teufel mit der Flamme Rouge" is available from Delius Klasing Verlag. In the first week of the race, the team will have the ex-professionals Robert Bengsch and Bernhard Eisel as experts. The 17-time Tour participant Jens Voigt will once again take a seat on the support bike during this time and provide Eurosport viewers with insights from the peloton. From the second week onwards, Voigt will replace Robert Bengsch in the commentary. Birgit Hasselbusch is responsible for the information away from the racing action and provides the audience with interesting facts about the country and its people.
Eurosport also offers a very special treat for cycling fans: the Velo Club, which already existed last year. In a half-hour analysis show, presenter David Marcour welcomes guests such as Jan Ullrich or Tony Martin live in the studio and discusses the stages of the Tour de France with them in detail.
