Mark Cavendish, who set a new record at the Tour of France on Wednesday with his 35th stage win, will be the last rider in the overall standings to roll off the ramp in Nuits-Saint-Georges at 13:05:00. The last rider to start the race will be the overall leader Tadej Pogacar in the yellow jersey at 17:00:00.
The first 58 starters set off with a gap of one minute. From riders 59 to 165, the gap at the start is 1:30 minutes. There is a two-minute gap between the last nine riders.
Top favourite for the time trial on stage 7 is Remco Evenpoel (start time 16:58:00)his greatest adversary is likely to be Tadej Pogacar, who arrived two minutes after him starts the race. In addition to the top riders from the overall classification, a number of time trial specialists are also likely to be in contention for the stage win. Most notable are: Stefan Küng (start time 15:05:00), Stefan Bissegger (start time 14:02:00) and Wout van Aert (start time 15:27:30).
