The three weeks of the Giro d'Italia were a mixture of triumph, tragedy and small moments. While seconds and prestige were fought for at the front, countless little stories unfolded in the peloton, moments that are easily overlooked, but which unfold their full power in pictures. From the relentless rain to the cheering Tifosi on the roadsides: Each stage wrote its own episode full of passion.
