The UCI Women's World Tour comprises a total of 28 events in 2023. These include major national tours such as the Giro d'Italia Donne, the Tour de France Femmes and the Vuelta a Feminina.
The cycling calendar stretches from January to October and offers a wealth of major races that take place around the world. The year starts with the Tour Down Under in Australia and ends in October with the Tour of Guangxi in China. With a wide range of competitions, the cycling calendar offers exciting challenges and high-calibre competitions for female riders.
But the classics are also a must in 2023. First and foremost, there are also some monuments in women's cycling, such as the Tour of FlandersParis-Roubaix, or Liège-Bastogne-Liège.
The World Cycling Championships took place in Glasgow from 3 to 13 August. Over 11 days, the world champions were crowned in a wide variety of disciplines - including road cycling.
