After the jersey presentations of cycling teams such as Bora-Hansgrohe or Ineos Grenadiers Soudal - Quick Step has now also new jersey for the coming season. With a view to the Last year's jersey of the Belgian racing team it has remained the same in its basic features. However, the unmistakable blue colour has been brought back to the fore, whereas last year's jersey still contained a comparatively large amount of white. The new jersey also distinguishes itself from its predecessor with smaller details.
The new jersey was designed by Stijn Dossche, who was tasked with reflecting the team's identity and environmental awareness in the jersey. "I was grateful that I was given free rein to be creative and have fun with the design, and I hope it comes across that way," says Dossche. He explains his design ideas and their realisation in more detail: "I also tried to add different shades of blue that refer to the sky and the sea. The movements in the floral patterns are intended to show the movement of the team through the natural environment in which cycling takes place. In general, the shapes are meant to capture the movement of the sport."
In collaboration with the manufacturer Castelli, this design was realised in a functional jersey. Castelli Brand Manager Steve Smith is delighted with the result: "We have been eagerly awaiting the outcome of our work with Soudal - Quick Step and with Stijn, and we are very pleased with the final look."

The new jersey design is apparently also going down well with the riders. In a video from Soudal - Quick Step on the X platform, three athletes can be seen dancing to Celine Dion's "It's All Coming Back to Me Now". In the lead role is two-time world champion Julian Alaphilippe, who can't stop raving: "I love the new jersey. It looks different to previous years, but retains the elements that are part of our identity. I can hardly wait to wear it for the first time at a competition in a few weeks' time, at the Tour Down Under and then in the spring classics, which I like so much."
