The Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl team will be called Soudal - Quick Step from 2023. The Belgian team's jersey will also change to match the new sponsor. The new design was first seen on the second rest day of the 2022 Tour de France in Morzine, but team boss Patrick Lefevere's squad has only now unveiled the complete outfit.
The new jersey from Soudal - Quick Step has significantly more white and less blue compared to the 2022 version (>> e.g. available here). The new main sponsor Soudal, a manufacturer of adhesives from Belgium, is prominently displayed on the chest and back of the riders with the red bar from the company logo and its lettering.
The clothing is manufactured by Castelli. The Italian company already kitted out Remco Evenepoel and Julian Alaphilippe's team with jerseys and shorts in 2022.
A few days before the presentation of the Soudal - Quick Step team kit, Remco Evenepoel had already shown himself in his new world champion jersey. The 22-year-old's jersey is largely white with the sponsor's prints in black and the rainbow colours of the world champion. They adorn the jersey as a chest ring and the arms.
Evenepoel had the world championship title won the road race at the World Championships in Australia in September. Shortly before that, he had been Vuelta a Espana his first overall victory in a three-week national tour.
