Four of these went to men's teams and eight to women's teams, meaning that a total of 25 and 24 teams respectively will be at the start. The women will race on 6 April, one day before the men.
The four men's teams invited by the A.S.O. are the same as last year: Bingoal WB, Q36.5 Pro Cycling, Flanders-Baloise and TotalEnergies. The organisers did not deviate from last year's distribution when allocating the wildcards for the Tour de France. In the women's race, this changed simply due to the allocation of new licences for the Women's World Tour. As a result, the German team Ceratizit-WNT, for example, was no longer reliant on an invitation from the A.S.O. this season, but was able to take part in the Tour de France thanks to the WWT affiliation firmly qualified.
