Do-it-yourself is the trend. Endurance athletes can also make their own food for tours with little effort - and are usually much more environmentally friendly when travelling than with industrially produced food supplements packaged in small quantities.

For 8 waffles you need
Preparation time 45 minutes
Mix the wholemeal spelt flour, spelt flour and baking powder in a mixing bowl. Then mix the agave syrup with the hemp protein powder, salt and crushed linseed using a food processor or hand mixer. Gradually add the beetroot juice and mineral water and mix everything into a smooth batter. Brush the baking surface of the preheated waffle iron with a little oil and bake the batter in batches to form waffles. Important: Brush the waffle iron with a little oil after each baking process to prevent the batter from sticking!
