Nothing is more fun than making your bike more individual, more beautiful, faster or lighter. TOUR shows you how to get more out of your bike as cheaply as possible and with as little effort as possible

A new saddle, new tyres, new handlebar tape - it's easy to give your bike a facelift, but technically it's usually a bit more complex. But there are also many ideas on how to make your bike lighter, more aerodynamic and more comfortable without draining your bank account as much as buying a new bike would require. After all, the beauty of a road bike is that it consists of many individual parts that can be replaced relatively easily; almost every part is at least lighter, sometimes more comfortable or more aerodynamic. Different tyres, a new, thicker handlebar tape or better gliding Bowden cables are not visible at first glance, but the bike then rolls more easily, rides more comfortably and the gears or brakes work more precisely and better (again). In this way, even a used road bike can be adapted to technical progress or your own (changed) needs - at least within certain limits.
