The Swiss clothing manufacturer ASSOS presents the further developed Mille/Uma GT S11 collection for 2026. The Endurance series combines proven materials with technologies from professional cycling. The S11 EVO jersey retains the "AirCell" fabric in the main area, an ultra-lightweight circular knit fabric with an open structure.

Technology from the racing series

The aim of the development was to achieve a more vapour-permeable material, lower weight and improved sun protection up to factor 50. Assos from racing. This finish creates a flat finish without seams and eliminates pressure points on the upper arm. The aerodynamic properties are improved by the smooth transition between arm and sleeve end. Triple Ramp Pockets use flexible panels to stabilise the back pockets even when fully loaded. The system prevents heavy items such as minitools, smartphones or Rain gear and catering during the journey. Thanks to the panel construction, the pocket openings remain accessible even when fully loaded. ASSOS offers the jersey in seven colours: Black, White, Edge Green, Blossom Pink, Golden Yellow, Ground Brown and Deep Petrol.

New material with a high recycled content

The Mille/Uma GT cycling shorts S11 uses the new "QUARTZ" textile, which is designed to allow more sweat transport. The material consists of 80% recycled polyamide from production waste and is said to be less odorous. The leg length is longer than the previous model. The fabric provides even compression without constricting and transports sweat quickly to the outside. Assos promises a deeper, true black colour that remains opaque even when stretched.

RollBar brace technology from the Racing Series stabilises the seat pad when pedalling in any riding situation. The braces distribute the tensile forces evenly and prevent the pad from slipping in the crotch. The leg grippers offer a secure hold in wet and dry conditions, says Assos. The grippers should work comfortably and leave no marks on the skin. Moss Green and Burgundy Red complete the colour palette alongside the basic black version.

12mm cushion with three-layer construction

The GT S11 seat pad forms the centrepiece of the new cycling shorts with a 12 mm thick endurance platform. A so-called mono-foam absorbs shocks and vibrations over several hours, promise the trouser tailors from Switzerland. The three-layer, perforated construction improves breathability compared to the previous model. The top layer wicks away moisture, the middle layer absorbs pressure peaks and the bottom layer distributes the load evenly.

The padding construction adapts anatomically to the sit bones and avoids pressure points in sensitive areas. Perforations in all three layers create air channels for better ventilation. The pad retains its original shape and cushioning properties even after several hours of riding. Assos developed this "Golden Gate" technology specifically for long-distance rides, where constant friction can lead to skin irritation.

Material innovations in detail

The "Eclipse" material in the sleeves weighs just 11 grams per square metre and yet is said to offer up to factor 50 protection against UV radiation. The warp knitting process creates an ultra-soft feel without compromising on durability. The material structure reflects harmful UV rays and keeps the skin temperature low. AirCell fabric in the main jersey area uses a proven circular knit construction with an optimised hexagonal structure. The hexagonal openings create air channels for direct skin contact with the outside air. The material stretches in all directions and returns to its original shape without deformation.

Colour variants and availability

ASSOS offers the Mille GT series in seven colour options, while the Uma women's line has six special variants. Edge Green and Blossom Pink are available in both ranges and allow for coordinated team or couple outfits. Golden Yellow utilises UV-resistant pigments for long-lasting luminosity even in intense sunlight. Ground Brown and Deep Petrol extend the range with earthy tones for more subtle appearances. The UMA series complements the range with Almond Milk and Wisteria Violet as feminine alternatives.

All colours underwent practical tests over a complete cycling season under various climatic conditions. The colour fastness is maintained even after 200 wash cycles at 30 degrees. ASSOS only uses pigments without harmful chemicals for environmentally friendly production. The collection will be available from March 2026 in all ASSOS sizes from XS to XXL. Prices start at 189 euros for the jersey and 249 euros for the cycling shorts. The complete S11 kit is aimed at riders who train daily and value long-lasting quality.
