Trek Speed Concept SLR 7

The "Speed Concept SLR 7" model from Trek, released in 2024, is a high-end triathlon and time trial bike renowned for its aerodynamic efficiency and high-quality components. The price for this model is 9,999 EUR.

The frame of the Speed Concept SLR 7 is made from 800 Series OCLV Carbon and features a KVF (Kammtail Virtual Foil) tube profile, which ensures optimum aerodynamics. The T47 bottom bracket, along with the integrated Bento Box and the down tube storage compartment, offer additional functionality and storage space. The bike’s maximum load capacity is 136 kg, whilst its weight is just 8 kg.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano Dura-Ace hydraulic disc brakes at both the front and rear, each fitted with Shimano CL800 Centre Lock and a disc diameter of 160 mm. The shift levers are also Shimano Dura-Ace hydraulic disc brakes, featuring the R9180 Di2 lever and the R9270 caliper. The front derailleur is a Shimano Ultegra R8150 Di2 in the brazed version with a down-swing design.

The bike’s fork is made of carbon and features an aero profile as well as integrated brakes and a stem. The crankset is a Shimano Ultegra R8100 with 52/36 teeth and a crank arm length of 172.5 mm, whilst the bottom bracket is a threaded Praxis T47. The wheelset consists of Bontrager Aeolus Pro 51, OCLV Carbon, Tubeless Ready, both at the front (100 x 12 mm thru-axle) and at the rear (142 x 12 mm thru-axle, Shimano 11/12-speed freehub). The saddle is a Bontrager Hilo Comp with CrMo-tube rails, and the seatpost is a Speed Concept SLR with an offset of either 11.5 mm or -20 mm in the long version.

The bike’s packaging dimensions are 21 mm wide, 119 mm high and 189 mm long.
