Trek Émonda SLR 7

The "Émonda SLR 7" model from the Trek brand from 2023 is a state-of-the-art road bike that is in the upper class with a price tag of EUR 8499. The ultra-light frame is made of 800 Series OCLV carbon, which is known for its perfect tuning and optimised performance tubes. The tapered head tube and internal cable routing contribute to aerodynamic efficiency, while the DuoTrap S compatibility and flat mount disc brake mount ensure state-of-the-art technology and safety. The 142 x 12 mm thru-axle ensures a stable connection between the wheels.

The permissible total weight of the bike is 125 kg, while its own weight is just 7 kg, making it one of the lightest models in its class. The handlebar is a Bontrager Aeolus RSL, an integrated handlebar/stem unit made from OCLV carbon with Di2 cable routing. The tyres are Bontrager R3 with the dimensions 700 x 25, which are mounted on the Bontrager Aeolus Pro 37 wheelset. This is made of OCLV carbon, is tubeless ready and has a profile height of 37 mm. The front hub has a 100 x 12 mm thru axle, while the rear hub has a 142 x 12 mm thru axle and an 11-speed freehub from Shimano.

The saddle is a Bontrager Aeolus Elite with Austenit stays and a width of 145 mm. The seat post consists of a Bontrager aluminium seat tower attachment with an offset of 20 mm in a long version.

The geometry of the frame offers a reach of 40 mm, a stack of 62 mm, a seat tube length of 59 mm, a top tube length of 60 mm as well as a head tube angle of 74 degrees and a seat tube angle of 72 degrees. The head tube length is 21 mm, the chainstay length is 41 mm and the standover height is 83 mm. The total wheelbase is 101 mm.
