Slim frame design, low overall weight and a carbon-like look: with the new Émonda ALR, Trek wants to build on the look of the carbon Émonda presented a year ago - at a comparatively favourable price. With a frame weight of just 1112 grams in the rim brake version and 1131 grams in the disc version (for frame size 56), the Émonad is actually quite light for an aluminium bike. As with all Trek models with more favourable equipment, the riding position is more upright than race-like due to the H2 geometry.
The Émonda ALR is available with both rim brakes and disc brakes. Trek puts the prices for the US market at between 1,299.99 dollars and 1,799.99 dollars - depending on which brake system and equipment you choose - you can choose between Shimano's 105 and Tiagra. The manufacturer has not yet announced the prices for German sales. The Émonda is equipped with 25 millimetre wide tyres and integrated DuoTrap S sensors for speed and cadence measurement as standard.
