Trek Émonda SL 6 Di2

The 2023 "Émonda SL 6 Di2" from Trek is a state-of-the-art road bike designed for discerning riders. Priced at 3,499 EUR, it offers an impressive combination of lightness, stiffness and advanced technology. The frame is made from ultra-light 500 Series OCLV carbon and is designed to deliver perfectly balanced and optimised performance. The tapered head tube and internal cable routing contribute to the bike’s aerodynamic efficiency and aesthetics. The frame is also DuoTrap S-compatible and features a flat-mount disc brake mount and a 142 x 12 mm thru-axle.

The bike’s maximum load capacity is 125 kg, whilst it weighs just 8 kg, making it one of the lightest models in its class. The braking system consists of Shimano 105 hydraulic disc brakes (BR-R7170) at the front and rear, with 160 mm Shimano RT70 Centre Lock brake discs, which ensure reliable braking performance in all conditions.

The wheelset comprises Bontrager Paradigm Comp Tubeless Ready rims with an internal width of 21 mm and Bontrager Paradigm Comp 25 Tubeless Ready rims with an internal width of 25 mm. The hubs are Bontrager Affinity Comp with a Shimano 11/12-speed freehub body and a 142x12 mm thru-axle.

The saddle is a Bontrager Aeolus Comp with steel rails and a width of 145 mm, mounted on a Bontrager carbon seatpost with a 20 mm offset. The bike’s geometry comprises a seat tube length of 57 mm, a top tube length of 59 mm, a head tube angle of 74 degrees, a seat tube angle of 73 degrees, a head tube length of 19 mm, a chainstay length of 41 mm, a stack height of 81 mm and a wheelbase of 100 mm.
