Trek Émonda ALR 5

The 2022 "Émonda ALR 5" model from Trek is a high-quality road bike that stands out for its lightness and advanced technology. The frame is made from ultra-light 300 Series Alpha Aluminium and utilises Invisible Weld technology to ensure a seamless and stable construction. The tapered head tube and internal Control Freak cable routing contribute to the bike’s improved aerodynamics and aesthetics. The frame is DuoTrap S-compatible and features a flat-mount disc brake mount as well as a 142 x 12 mm thru-axle. The maximum rider weight is 125 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 9 kg.

The stem is a Bontrager Elite with a clamp diameter of 31.8 mm, a 7-degree angle and a length of 110 mm. The headset is an integrated FSA headset with sealed cartridge bearings.

The tyres are Bontrager R1 Hard-Case Lite, sized 700 x 25C, fitted to Bontrager Affinity Disc rims, which are tubeless-ready and have an internal width of 21 mm. The hubs are made of aluminium and feature sealed bearings and a Centre Lock disc mount. The saddle is a Bontrager Verse Comp with steel rails and a width of 145 mm, fitted to a Bontrager carbon seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm and an 8 mm offset.
