Trek Checkpoint SL 5

The "Checkpoint SL 5" model from Trek, released in 2023, is a versatile and high-performance gravel bike designed for demanding riders. The price for this model is 3999 EUR. The frame is made from 500 Series OCLV carbon and features IsoSpeed technology, which ensures enhanced riding stability and comfort. The internal cable routing and down tube storage compartment contribute to a clean look and added functionality. The frame also features a 3S chain guide, a T47 bottom bracket, rack and mudguard eyelets, and integrated mounting points for a frame bag. The flat-mount disc brake mounts and compatibility with a Vario seatpost round off the specifications.

The bike’s maximum load capacity is 125 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 9 kg. The Shimano RX400 hydraulic disc brakes at the front and rear, combined with the Shimano RT70 brake discs (160 mm), ensure reliable braking performance in all conditions. The shift lever is also a Shimano GRX hydraulic disc brake.
