Scott Scale RC 600

The "Scale RC 600" model from Scott, released in 2024, is a high-quality bicycle available at a price of 999 EUR. The bike’s frame is made from JR26 Rigid Disc light, Alloy 6061, featuring a curved top tube, a semi-integrated head tube and SCOTT dropouts. The bike is fitted with a rigid fork made from AL-6061, which has a steerer tube diameter of 1 1/8 inches.

Braking is provided by Shimano BR-MT500 disc brakes at the front and rear, operated via Shimano BL-MT501 brake levers. The brake discs each have a diameter of 160 mm and are of the Shimano SM-RT56 type. Shifting is handled by a Microshift ADVENT super short cage clutch rear derailleur with an adjustable ratchet clutch, offering 9 speeds. The shifter is a Microshift ADVENT Pro with a quick-release trigger and rubber-padded lever.

The bottom bracket is a Feimin BB68 with a cartridge and square taper. The crankset consists of a Prowheel BOOM-32P with a length of 152 mm and a 32T aluminium chainring fitted with a PVC cover. The cassette is a Microshift ADVENT H-Series with an 11–38T range for 9 speeds, and the drivetrain uses a KMC X9 chain.

The handlebars are LEADTEC Kids Riser Bars made of aluminium, with a diameter of 31.8 mm, a width of 580 mm and a backsweep of 9°. The grips are Syncros Grip Kids D19mm with a lock-on function. The stem is also from LEADTEC and has a length of 40 mm and an angle of +/-7°. The headset is a Feimin FP-H809 with sealed bearings.

The bike’s rims are Alexrims MD19 for disc brakes; the spokes are 15G UCP in black. The tyres are Schwalbe Rocket Ron Evolution with ADDIX Speed Compound, a density of 67 EPI and dimensions of 26x2.35 inches. Both tyres are foldable. The hubs are by Formula: the DC-140-F model at the front and the DC-38-R model at the rear, both fitted with quick-release skewers.

The saddle is a Syncros Future Pro and the seatpost is made of 2014 aluminium with a diameter of 27.2 mm and a length of 300 mm without offset. The gross weight of the bike is 18,140 g. The model is available in one size under the name SCO Scale RC 600.
