Lapierre Sensium 2.0

The Sensium 2.0 from Lapierre from 2022 is a bike model that is characterised by its carefully selected components and well thought-out construction. The frame of the bike is made of Sensium Supreme 5 aluminium with smooth welds, which ensures an appealing look and a solid base. The fork combines carbon with an aluminium steerer tube to offer a balanced ratio of stiffness and weight.

For the brakes, Lapierre relies on the Promax RC-481 model, which guarantees reliable braking performance. The gears are equipped with the Shimano Sora RD-R3000-GS, a 9-speed system that enables precise and responsive gear changes. The 2x9-speed Shimano Sora ST-R3000 shifters and the Shimano Sora FD-R3000BM front derailleur complement the drivetrain system perfectly. The Shimano Sora FC-R3000 crankset has a gear ratio of 50-34T and varies in length depending on the frame size to enable customisation.

The bottom bracket is a Shimano BSA, while the Shimano HG200 sprocket is equipped with a gradation of 11-34T, which allows versatile adaptation to different types of terrain. The drivetrain is completed by the Shimano HG53 chain. The handlebars are made of Lapierre aluminium and are available in different widths depending on the frame size, while the handlebar tape also comes from Lapierre and ensures comfort.

The stem is made of Lapierre aluminium and has a tilt angle of -7°. The length varies depending on the size of the frame to support the rider's ergonomics. The headset is an FSA NO.9M/TH with an angle of 36°/36° ACB, which ensures precise steering.

The Ryde Chrina rims measuring 622x13 with 32 spokes per wheel are robust and provide a stable base for the Continental Ultra Sport 3 SL tyres in size 700x25. The hubs are equipped with Shimano RS300 models at the front and rear, which also have 32 spokes.

The Selle Italia X3 Boost saddle ensures comfort on longer rides, while the Lapierre aluminium seat post with a diameter of 27.2 mm and a length of 350 mm provides additional stability. The VP-335 Clips&Strap pedals round off the equipment and offer a secure grip. With a price of 1049 euros, the Sensium 2.0 offers an attractive price-performance ratio for ambitious cyclists.
