Lapierre Sensium 200 Lady 2014
High-quality carbon frame with triple cranks, cheap wheels and tyres, only three sizes.

As with the men's models, Haibike and Lapierre use the same frame for their women's models. The technically good carbon frame, which offers a relaxed riding position, is one of the highlights of the test. Like Haibike, Lapierre also relies on a 105 gear system, which is complemented by groupless brakes and cranks. However, the Sensium Lady offers a triple crankset, which allows for easier climbing. On the other hand, the wheels are more than one class worse than Haibike's and are also fitted with heavy clincher tyres. Our test rider found the handlebars uncomfortable. The lower handlebar is very far away and the shape is ergonomically unfavourable: the wrists bend a lot in the lower handlebar, which is uncomfortable in the long run. The flat, wide saddle from Selle Italia with a cut-out in the seat, on the other hand, was well received.
