Centurion Overdrive Road Z4000

The 2020 Centurion Overdrive Road Z4000 is a versatile bike suitable for both road and gravel rides. Priced at 4,149 EUR, it offers a balanced combination of performance and comfort. The frame is made of aluminium and bears the designation ‘Overdrive Z’, which stands for a robust yet lightweight construction. The maximum load capacity is 135 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 15 kg.

The Overdrive Road Z4000 is fitted with high-quality components, all designed with performance in mind. The brakes, derailleurs, shift levers and front derailleur are all from the SHIMANO Ultegra series, which is renowned for its reliability and precision. With 11 gears, the bike offers a wide range of gear ratios suitable for both flat routes and challenging climbs. The fork is a CENTURION CARBON road/gravel model, which provides additional stability and damping.

The bike is fitted with VP-993 pedals and features a FAZUA evation 2.0 bottom bracket, which works in conjunction with the FSA CK-746-1/IS crankset. The cassette is a SHIMANO 105, whilst the drivetrain is powered by the SHIMANO CN-HG701-11 chain. The handlebars are PROCRAFT Road Race, complemented by CENTURION Race Tape grips for optimum grip. The stem is a PROCRAFT Comp, and the headset is an FSA NO.55R 1.5".

The wheelsets consist of PROCRAFT Altitude GD30 rims, fitted with CONTINENTAL Grand Sport Race tyres in size 32-622, which ensure good grip and durability. The hubs are DT SWISS 350 Road db CL models, connected by PROCRAFT stainless 2.0 spokes. The saddle is a PROCRAFT Race III, mounted on a PROCRAFT Pro Off. Light seatpost.

A key feature of the Overdrive Road Z4000 is its electric drive, powered by a FAZUA evation 2.0 drive pack. The accompanying battery has a capacity of 250 Wh, providing sufficient assistance for longer rides. The bike’s geometry is also well thought out, with a seat tube length of 480 mm, a top tube length of 536 mm, a head tube angle of 70 degrees and a chainstay length of 430 mm, all of which combine to create a comfortable and efficient riding position.
