Fidlock, known for its magnetic fastening systems, presents two new products that have been specially developed for bikepacking enthusiasts and gravel bikers. The TWIST uni connector XL and the TWIST vario base are designed to offer additional and flexible fastening options on the bike. In contrast to classic cycle touring, bikepackers rely on lightweight bags and packing systems specially developed for cycling. The new Fidlock products are designed to allow luggage to be securely and easily attached to and removed from the bike.

Flexible fastenings with Fidlock TWIST vario base

On the one hand, Fidlock presents the TWIST vario base. This variable magnetic-mechanical mount is designed for bicycle frames and forks. The well-known TWIST system is designed to guarantee secure and effortless attachment of bike accessories. The vario base has 4 slotted holes that fit flexibly to the various attachment points available on gravel bikes. Depending on requirements, the Fidlock TWIST vario base can be attached to the bike at 2 to 3 attachment points using screws or cable ties. This results in a total of 10 variable mounting options. Compatibility with all Fidlock TWIST modules enables a wide range of possible applications.

The Fidlock TWIST uni connector XL

The second part is the TWIST uni connector XL, which, according to Fidlock, offers the solution for additional storage space during your next bikepacking tour. It combines the existing TWIST force connector with a "cargo plate" and two straps for securely fastening luggage. This creates a robust platform for attaching additional equipment to the bike. With the new Fidlock uni connector XL, items of different sizes, from water bottles to sleeping bags and dry bags, can be attached to the bike.
