The Z Torque Wrench from Zéfal covers a torque range from 2 to 24 Nm and can be set in increments of 0.1 Nm. The tool complies with ISO standard 6789 and is supplied with ten different bits and an extension. A special long 4 mm bit enables disc brake callipers to be tightened in hard-to-reach places.

The high-quality tool has a handle with a locking ring that allows adjustment in tenths of a Newton metre increments. The torque changes by 1 Newton metre per revolution. The 1/4-inch connection ensures compatibility with standardised tools with square drive.

Equipment and accessories

The scope of delivery includes hexagon bits in sizes 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10 mm as well as Torx bits T10, T20, T25 and T30. An extension is also included in the set. The long 4 mm bit was specially developed for brake callipers and reaches areas where conventional sockets reach their limits.

Certification and application

The ISO 6789 certification confirms compliance with international standards for torque spanners. The adjustability in 0.1 Newton metre increments should enable precise assembly of carbon parts. The torque range of 2 to 24 Nm covers most applications on bicycles.
