The festival is taking place again for the first time since 2019. Canyon is inviting cyclists to its expanded campus, which comprises the company’s headquarters and the new E-Performance Centre.
Test rides at Canyon
The test area features all of Canyon’s bike categories: road bikes, MTBs, gravel bikes, triathlon bikes, city bikes, e-bikes and children’s bikes are available for test rides. Experts are on hand to advise you on which model best suits your individual needs. The test rides take place right on the campus grounds.
Guided Group outings Set off into the countryside around Koblenz. Road cycling, mountain biking and gravel cycling tours are available for riders of all abilities. Visitors can also bring their own bikes or book test bikes in advance. The rides explore the routes of the Koblenz region at different paces and in various riding styles.
Sprint races and professional matches
The company is teaming up with Rad Race to organise a sprint race on Karl-Tesche-Straße in front of the campus. The road will be transformed into a race track for cyclists. The race will take place right outside the gates of Canyon Headquarters.
Stars from the international cycling scene will be sharing insights into their training and equipment. Jan Frodeno, Sam Pilgrim, Rick Zabel, Marei Moldenhauer, Lukas Schäfer, Braydon Bringhurst, Eric Porter and Fabio Wibmer will be taking part in the festival. During the group rides, visitors can cycle side by side with the professionals. Autograph sessions offer the chance to get a personalised autograph from the cycling stars.
Factory tours at Canyon
The guided tours showcase areas that are otherwise off-limits to the public. For example, visitors can tour the test laboratory, which is equipped with high-tech scanners and stress testers. The Canyon Factory and the E-Performance Centre open their doors to offer technical insights. Visitors can also experience the assembly line and the testing procedures used by the Koblenz-based manufacturer to develop and test its bicycles. The tours explain the individual steps from development right through to final assembly.
Bike sales and supporting programme
It is also possible to buy a bike outright. A wide selection of “Bike2Go” bikes is available for immediate purchase. Visitors can buy their new bike right there and then and take it home on the same day. The festival is offering special deals on selected models, and when purchasing a promotional bike, buyers will receive unspecified ‘goodies’.
Expert advice is available on questions regarding company bike leasing, how the New Bike Day works, and technical details. Staff are on hand to provide information about leasing partners, finding the right fit, and all the details relating to buying a bike.
An ‘MTB World Championships Watch Party’ will be showing the Mountain Bike World Championships from Val di Sole with live commentary. Visitors can cheer on the Canyon DH and XC riders as they battle for gold on the World Championships course. Food trucks and the Canyon Café on site will be providing refreshments.
