The manufacturer Winspace, which is (still) relatively unknown in Germany, is using the women's Tour of France to promote itself. The brand from China presented two new models before the fifth stage: an aerodynamic specialist and a lightweight mountain bike.
The more exciting novelty is the presumably fast racer called the T1600. Thanks to a striking detail: two "air deflectors" are attached to each side of the seat tube underneath the seat node. The curved carbon parts are attached to the seat stays and are around ten centimetres long. The front is also slightly sharper than on the current team bike.
The T1550 is ridden by the riders of the pro team in France. A change to the new bike is not planned, as a mechanic told us. However, amateur athletes can already ride the T1600. At least Winspace already offers the frame set. Cost: 2400 US dollars (approx. 2092 euros).
