The time difference of five hours (CEST until Sunday, four hours CET from Sunday) to Germany requires careful preparation from the European teams. Many nations have already travelled to Germany a week before the start of the competition in order to get used to the climatic conditions. German track cycling fans will have to be prepared for late transmission times, as the decisive finals will not start until after 23:00 German time.
In Germany, the 2025 Track Cycling World Championships will be broadcast on Eurosport. With the exception of Sunday (on Eurosport 2), all competition days will be broadcast on free TV on Eurosport 1. There will also be a paid live stream every day on Discovery Plus. On Saturday and Sunday, ZDF will also be broadcasting a free live stream of the World Championships.

Chile organises track cycling world championships for the first time. The Peñalolén Velodrome in Santiago de Chile will become the centre of international track cycling from 22 to 26 October 2025. The UCI Track World Championships will bring together the world's best sprinters and endurance riders on the South American track. A total of 22 gold medal events are on the programme, divided into 11 competitions each for women and men.
The competition structure follows a tried and tested pattern with qualifying rounds in the morning and finals in the evening. Each competition day begins at 11:00 a.m. (local time) with the qualifying rounds, while the finals start in the evening. For German fans, the time difference of five hours or four hours on the last day means that the finals can only be watched in the late evening or early night German time.
