The Track Cycling World Championships are coming up and will take place in Chile this year. One week before the start, the German federation has announced the line-up for the endurance and short-time disciplines.

The World Championships for track specialists are coming up, this time in Chile. In the capital of the South American country, Santiago de Chile, the women and men will be competing for 11 gold medals each on the track. There will be two main categories: The endurance disciplines on the one hand and the short-time disciplines on the other. The 21-strong line-up of the German Cycling Federation was published just under a week before the start of the World Championships.

Unfortunately, the German team will have to do without one of the two gold medallists this year. Tim Torn Teutenberg will not be at the start due to illness. Roger Kluge, who landed the big coup last year with the young Teutenberg, is likely to regret this in particular. In the women's team, the entire team foursome from last year will be in the line-up.
