Remco Evenepoel wants to tackle the Tour de France for the first time in 2024. The Belgian has already set himself a specific goal.

On Sunday, Remco Evenepoel was named Sportsman of the Year at the Belgian Sports Gala. During the event, the 23-year-old also gave an outlook on his plans for the coming season. In particular, he focussed on the Tour de France 2024, where he would like to make his debut.

Evenepoel has already announced a goal for the upcoming Tour of France. A top 5 finish is the target for the professional cyclist from Soudal - Quick Step become. Evenepoel also named three further highlights for 2024:

Liège-Bastogne-Liège has won in the last two years. In Paris, Evenepoel is aiming to win the Olympic Games medals in the road race and time trial. He also declared that he only wants to compete in a few races. It has not yet been decided which will be his first competition in 2024.
