Filippo Ganna has won the opening time trial at Tirreno-Adriatico 2025 in Lido di Camaiore. The hour world record holder took revenge for last year.

Filippo Ganna (INEOS Grenadiers) raced to victory on stage 1 of Tirreno-Adriatico 2025 at an average speed of 56 km/h. The Italian relegated Juan Ayuso (UAE Team Emirates - XRG) to second place, who had beaten Ganna by one second in the opening time trial in Lido di Camaiore last year. "Of course it's much better to win by 23 seconds this year than last year's result," said Ganna in the official winner's interview.
