The Swiss bike manufacturer Scott is returning to the top cycling league and will be the official bike supplier of the NSN Cycling Team from the coming season. As both partners announced, a multi-year sponsorship agreement has been signed. The Spanish-based team with a Swiss licence not only shares a nationality with the Swiss-based company Scott, but also a commitment to innovation and top performance in cycling. "It is a privilege to support the NSN Cycling Team and a group of athletes, employees and sponsors united in their pursuit of excellence," explains Pascal Ducrot, Co-CEO of Scott. "With our long racing heritage, we celebrate Scott's return to the UCI WorldTour with the team, where our world-class products will help talented athletes perform on the sport's biggest stages."

Scott return after Specialized withdrawal

The partnership marks a significant step for both sides. For Scott, it means a return to the UCI WorldTour after a long absence. The company will equip both the WorldTour team and its development team with Syncros-branded racing bikes and components. The partnership comes at a time when the bike market is experiencing some upheaval.

Only recently, the US manufacturer Specialized caused a stir when it put pressure on Team Israel - Premier Tech and demanded a change of name and identity. The team ultimately dropped its identity due to pressure from other sponsors. The collaboration with Specialized obviously ended anyway. In this context, Scott's involvement takes on added significance and emphasises the company's confidence in the team's future after a difficult past season.

The NSN Cycling Team has signed prominent reinforcements for the coming season. Eritrean rider Biniam Girmay, who has already won the green jersey in a Grand Tour, joins the team as a top sprinter. The involvement of NSN, co-founded by former football star Andrés Iniesta, also emphasises the team's sporting ambitions.

The newly formed team will celebrate its debut with the Scott bikes at the Tour Down Under in January 2026. The Australian stage race traditionally marks the start of the UCI WorldTour season and offers the team the first opportunity to test the new equipment under competitive conditions.
