Cube and the French UCI Pro Team TotalEnergies have announced a comprehensive partnership from the 2026 season. After the sudden and, according to Cube, not entirely voluntary End of the long-standing collaboration with the Intermarché-Wanty World Tour team Cube will supply the French team, based in Les Essarts in the Vendée, with racing bikes in future. The co-operation covers all of the team's squads from the UCI Pro team to the U19 and U23 development teams. Marcus Pürner, founder and owner of Cube, says: "We are very proud to be able to continue working with an ambitious professional team."

Cube supports an established team with tradition

The TotalEnergies team was founded in 2000 by Jean-René Bernaudeau and is based in Les Essarts in the Vendée - one of the most traditional cycling regions in France. The team is closely associated with the Vendée U Pays-de-la-Loire junior team and has served as a talent factory for many years, particularly for French cycling. In recent years, the team has been able to continuously drive forward its sporting development. In particular, the signing of three-time world champion Peter Sagan in 2022 and 2023 was another boost for the team, both in sporting terms and in terms of public perception. Anthony Turgis won a stage at the 2024 Tour de France and Jordan Jegat finished tenth overall at the 2025 Tour de France. Team manager Jean-René Bernaudeau emphasises that Cube brings the team "the precision and innovation of German engineering" - together with ten years of experience in supporting a pro team.

Continuation of the professional commitment

For Cube, the new partnership means a continuation of its commitment to professional cycling. Following the end of the collaboration with Intermarché-Wanty, which lasted for several years, the bicycle manufacturer from the Upper Palatinate can continue its cycling sponsorship at a top level. The partnership with Team TotalEnergies also enables Cube to strengthen its presence on the French market.

Outlook for the 2026 season

When the partnership begins in 2026, the riders of Team TotalEnergies will compete on the latest racing bikes from Cube. The working bikes will be the Cube Litening C68:X Aero and C68:X Air models, equipped with Shimano's top-of-the-range Dura-Ace components and Newmen Streem Vonoa wheels with Continental's Grand Prix 5000 tyres.
