Demi Vollering was able to ride away from all her rivals at the Vuelta Femenina 2025. On the final stage, there was a showdown on the Alto de Cotobello with a mountain finish, where no rider was able to follow with 800 metres to go. In the overall classification, the Swiss rider Reusser overtook van der Breggen to take second place. Anna van der Breggen thus finished third in the overall standings.
