Canadian Michael Woods has to leave the 109th Tour de France before the final stage in Paris.
The mountain specialist from the team Israel-Premier Tech tested positive for the coronavirus, as his team Israel-PremierTech announced.
Boivin does not start either
Woods is the 17th corona case on this year's tour. In addition, the Canadian Guillaume Boivin from the team will also not start. He feels unwell, but the corona test was negative.
In addition, the Spaniard Gorka Izagirre (Movistar) will no longer compete. His team Movistar announced that he was travelling to his home country the day before to take part in a race.
