On Saturday, the riders have to tackle an individual time trial at the Giro d'Italia 2025: 13.7 kilometres through Tirana. After the withdrawals of Mikel Landa (Soudal Quick-Step) and Geoffrey Bouchard (Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale Team), 182 riders are still in the race. The race will start in reverse order of the overall classification. This means that the two German pros Niklas Märkl (Team Picnic PostNL) and Marco Brenner (Tudor Pro Cycling Team) will start first. The last rider to roll off the ramp will be Mads Pedersen in the maglia rosa at 16:56.
The riders start the race one minute apart. For the top 15 in the overall standings, there is a three-minute gap between the starts.
